Process
The International Safety Resources Association (ISRA) offers individual workers as well as large employee groups the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills of all issues related to safe and healthful workplace practices. This knowledge is critical for your own protection as well as that of your co-workers and others, and those with this knowledge are considered highly valued employees.
ISRA offers a variety of on-line safety training packages. We have both industry specific packages as well as a more generalized safety curriculum which is applicable across all industries. If you purchase a package, you will receive:
Each topic will take between 45 and 60 minutes to complete, including testing and retesting time where necessary. You will successfully complete a course or topic when you achieve a score of 100% on the online test. Upon successful completion of all 10 or fewer courses or topics, you will be issued a course transcript and a Certificate of Completion. The transcripts and Certificate of Completion are documented proof that you have watched the online videos, absorbed the material and have passed the accompanying tests with 100% accuracy. It demonstrates that you have taken the initiative to gain the safety knowledge contained in the course and can be expected to be more conscientious about safe work practices because of that knowledge. You must pass all 10 tests with a score of 100% on each to obtain your Certificate of Completion and transcripts. Your 30 day meter starts the first time you access and activate your user name and password.
You will successfully complete a course or topic when you achieve a score of 100% on the online test. Upon successful completion of all 10 or fewer courses or topics, you will be issued a course transcript and a Certificate of Completion. FOR THOSE WHO ARE TAKING A CERTIFICATION COURSE, upon successful completion, we will mail you the CERTIFICATION Course Completion Certificate, as it is too large and must be mailed. Takes about a week to 10 days to arrive.
For quality video, you must use a high speed internet connection. It may take 5 to 10 seconds for the videos to load in the player. Be patient for a better learning experience. The most important thing is to absorb the safety knowledge you will be receiving. It will be of benefit to you, your family, your co-workers and of course, the company for whom will be working.
PAYMENT AND HOW TO COMPLETE COURSES:
• Click the ISRA logo to return to the home page, from other pages.
• Review the available courses by clicking “many packages” or “begin online training”.
• Select the course or courses you want to purchase and add to your shopping cart.
• When you’re ready to purchase, go to checkout.
• Complete the info for credit card purchase. Be sure your email and phone number are correct, as you will be receiving your Certificate and Transcripts and other info via email.
• IMPORTANT: After you submit your payment, you will:
1. Receive an email with your receipt and a separate email with your course(s) password
2. Whichever course or courses you purchased; you can use the same password and email address for all courses you purchased.
3. One or both of the emails may appear in your SPAM folder, so watch carefully for that.
4. Once you receive your password, go to the website and log in, using your email and password. Go to AVAILABLE COURSES.
5. The course or courses you purchased will be available any then you select the video program to complete. After you watch the video, wait about 5 to 10 seconds for the test to appear.
6. You must complete all tests with 100% accuracy to pass the course. We allow you to watch the video again and retake the tests until you achieve a grade of 100% accuracy.
7. After one video and test completed satisfactorily, continue to the next video and test.
8. Once you have successfully completed all videos and tests, we will email you a Certificate of Completion, Transcripts of the topics completed and a small reference booklet. Once your course is completed, you will no longer have access to the course. The most important part of this training is the knowledge you will receive. Certificate and Transcripts are important, but the employer may want to quiz you about these subjects to see if you really learned the information. So, don’t take the courses lightly.
Take notes, study and make sure you understand each topic.
