FAQs
How does this Certificate of Completion improve my resume?
Employers recognize that safety is an integral part of productivity. Anyone who has safety training over and above the company-provided training is a welcome addition to any team.
How many hours does it take to complete a single program?
If an individual is diligent and focused on the training, it should take between 45 and 60 minutes to complete individual courses including the exam. Basically about 10 hours per Certificate of Completion.
What proof do I receive of successful program completion?
Once you successfully complete the entire program, you will be provided directions on how to download a Certificate of Completion. In addition, you will receive transcript documentation of each individual course upon completion of the training courses. (This transcript should be added to your resume and the employer can verify through ISRA).
How soon can I expect to receive my certificate and transcript?
Upon successful completion of course work, the certificate and transcript will be provided within 2 business days or sooner.
Am I required to complete each program course in its entirety to receive my certificate?
Yes, we believe that all the course topics are important to complete in order to obtain the Certificate of Completion, Transcript and safety knowledge. The only exception is individuals in countries other than the United States. They are not required to complete the “Introduction to OSHA course”.
Do I get a passing grade if I get most of the test questions correct?
No. You must achieve 100% passing grades on course materials. You’ll be able to view the video one time, however, you can take the tests as many times as necessary to achieve a 100% passing grade on each test.
Are there discounts available for purchase of multiple certification programs? If so, how long is the discount available to me?
No. At the prices we have established for each course, it would be impossible to lower the price for multiple courses. You’ll be receiving over $1,000 worth of training for each training course, so our prices are at the bottom now.
How long do I have to complete the course?
You have 30 days to fully complete the courses for each Certificate of Completion. You are allowed to view each video program a maximum of three times each and the test can be taken as many times as necessary to accomplish a 100% score.
If I get stuck and require technical assistance, who do I contact?
You can contact us via email for assistance with technical difficulties. Our reply can be expected within two (2) business days.
What are the short and long term benefits of obtaining a Certificate of Completion?
Enhanced safety knowledge makes you a safer worker and, therefore, a more valuable employee. Our training documents to an employer that you are a person with initiative and a determination to be “a cut above” others and greater job safety knowledge is a valuable commodity.
How do I pay for this program?
We accept most methods of payments. Please review the “How to Order” section of this website for more details.
Are written materials provided that I can use as an ongoing reminder of safe work habits?
In most cases, “Tip Sheets” will be available for download with basic information contained in the program. Organizations making group purchases will be provided with written documentation, leader’s guides, PowerPoint presentations and tip sheets.
How easy is it to use the program? Do I need any special equipment?
Is there a minimum computer requirement to go through the program?
Basically, you can use a PC or Mac computer that is connected to the Internet. Some “dial up” connections will work, some may not. We only offer these courses online. If you can watch the “demo” on your computer, you can complete the courses.
If I need to stop in the middle of watching a video, how do I start up again?
Simply restart the program. Keep in mind, it is best to plan ahead, as each time you start the program it may count toward the total allowed of three (3) times.
If I can’t complete all the video’s and tests within the 30 days allowed due to circumstances beyond my control, can I apply for an extension of time?
In the event of extenuating circumstances, an extension can be requested. Contact us through the website if necessary. Each case will be reviewed and a decision will be communicated to you as soon as possible. Generally, we will accommodate you.
I noticed that many of the programs include a video entitled Introduction to OSHA. Why is it included in many of the programs?
The Occupational and Health Administration (OSHA), a U.S. government entity, requires this topic for their OSHA 10 and 30 Hour courses. If you are new to safety, this information will help you understand this regulatory agency and how it is integrated into workplace safety. It is not available on all courses.
Why should I, as a company, enroll my employees in this program?
The online training program is cost effective and easy to use. Managing the program is simple from your standpoint and the employee can access the programs at any time and from anywhere internet access is available. Once the employee successfully completes the program, they can provide the certificate and transcript to you for documentation purposes. Individual tracking, reporting and administration capabilities are included in company supported certifications.
With 10 topics per course, the cost is about $9.00 per topic. Is this a fair price?
We suggest you search the Internet for online safety courses. Most courses start about $20 each and they do not include full video. These higher priced courses use text and cartoons for online training. ISRA training is much more interesting and with full video, you’ll be able to better understand the training.
